Import for Re-Export Program
- Import for Re-export Program (IREP)
The Import for Re-export Program (IREP) provides for Canadian companies to import supply-managed agricultural products (chicken and chicken products; turkey and turkey products; dairy products; eggs and egg products and broiler hatching eggs) for further processing and re-exportation. The IREP allows the Canadian food processing sector to be competitive on the export market while supporting Canada’s domestic supply management system. The Program’s policies, conditions and administrative requirements are set out in specific sections on the IREP contained in the applicable Notices to Importers on Supplemental Imports for each agricultural sector. Additional information related to IREP administrative procedures, including reporting requirements, can be found in the documentation below.
