Re: Import for Re-Export Program (IREP)

I [name], Chief Executive Officer for [company name] have reviewed and understand the program's terms and conditions, permit conditions, as well as reporting requirements, as stated in the Notice to Importers [enter number], and in the letter of authorization from Global Affairs Canada dated [date].

Specifically, I confirm that [company name] is:

  • Importer of record for imported ingredients under the IREP;
  • Sole processor of  those ingredients into finished products;
  • Exporter of record of those finished products

I acknowledge that the transfer or sale of products imported under the IREP, or of finished goods containing products imported under the IREP, within Canada or to a Canadian resident or company is prohibited.

I acknowledge that [company name] must export all products imported under the IREP within [applicable number of days, 90 or 180] calendar days of the date of entry indicated on the associated supplemental import permit.

I acknowledge that [company name] must provide monthly export reports and bi-monthly (every two months) inventory reports, in the prescribed format, respecting the schedule in Appendix 2 of [company name]'s letter of authorization. [company name] will only include in its reports to Global Affairs Canada products manufactured with inputs imported under the IREP and will ensure accuracy of information provided.

I acknowledge that failure to comply with program's terms and conditions, permit conditions as well as reporting requirements, or failure to provide updated and accurate information, could result in the application of sanctions as set out in the Notice to Importers [enter number].
