Canada’s International Education Strategy, a key element of the Global Markets Action Plan, aims to help Canada build on its already strong advantages and become more prosperous, innovative and competitive by capitalizing on the vast opportunities that currently exist.

Much of the demand for international education will come from developing and emerging economies. Based on this reality, and to align with markets identified as priority under the Global Markets Action Plan, the International Education Strategy focuses on the priority markets outlined below.
