Fact Sheet: Infrastructure Sector

The infrastructure sector is divided into five subsectors: power (including smart grids), water, wastewater, transportation, and social infrastructure. The $135-billion sector includes a range of services: architecture, interior design, consulting engineering, construction, operations, maintenance and project financing. The sector also includes green building services and products, plus building materials and construction equipment.
