Reminder - Minister of International Trade Peter Van Loan to Attend Trilateral NAFTA Free Trade Commission Meeting
Canada, United States and Mexico to focus on jobs, growth and keeping North America on track toward economic recovery
(No. A/1 - January 8, 2011) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will travel to Mexico City on January 10, 2011, for a NAFTA Free Trade Commission meeting.
Minister Van Loan will meet with U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk and Mexico’s Economy Secretary Bruno Ferrari to discuss ways to simplify trading rules to make it easier for Canadian businesses and workers to trade with their closest partners.
The three ministers will hold a joint media availability after their meeting.
