1. Chile's commitment with regard to future access for certain products, as established in the letter from the Chilean Chief Negotiator to the Canadian Chief Negotiator of November 12, 1996, is included in the Chilean Tariff Reduction Lists and forms an integral part of this Agreement.
2. The current system of allocating quotas in Chile is in order of arrival (the first to arrive is the first served). If on a given day, more than one import declaration is presented and the annual quota is insufficient to satisfy all of them, they will be distributed proportionately on that day.
3. The numbers of the tariff headings, subheadings and items identified in this annex are based on the 1990 Harmonized System. The Parties will revise these references to reflect the changes in the 1996 Harmonized System.
