G-3-1: Certain Sugars, Syrups and Molasses Exports to the USA - WTO
5204 (a) sugars, syrups and molasses classified under subheadings 1701.12.10, 1701.91.10, 1701.99.10, 1702.90.10 and 2106.90.44 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (2020), as amended from time to time (United States), for export to the United States within the share of the in-quota quantity of the refined sugar tariff rate quota allocated to Canada by the United States in accordance with subparagraph 2(a) of Article 3.A.5 of Annex 3-A of Chapter 3 of CUSMA.

Under the WTO commitments, Canada obtained a country-specific reserve of 10,300 tonnes (raw value) within the U.S. refined sugar tariff rate quota. Only goods that are "product of Canada" may be included in Canada's country-specific reserve.
These U.S. obligations related to WTO commitments for refined sugar have been incorporated into subparagraph 2(a) of Article 3.A.5 of Annex 3-A of Chapter 3 of CUSMA. These goods are currently found under item 5204 (a) of the Export Control List.
