Fishing Licences

The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (Office of Protocol) presents its compliments to the Heads of Mission and notified Chargés d'affaires, a.i., Heads of international organizations and of other special representative offices, and has the honour to update administrative procedures for obtaining fishing licences in the Province of Ontario.
The Department wishes to clarify that all requests for fishing licences for duly accredited foreign representatives and family members residing in the province of Ontario must henceforth be directed to the Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs – Cabinet Office of the province of Ontario. This should be done by addressing an email to Ms. Alicia Carr, Senior Protocol Officer at (647) 241-4518, email: Alicia.Carr3@ontario.ca. Requests should specify the legal name of the individual, as printed on the Protocol Acceptance visa counterfoil.
