Message to Industry – Opening of the Application Period for the 2021-2022 Dairy Export Thresholds

Global Affairs Canada has prepared new Notices to Exporters for the 2021-2022 Skim Milk Powder and Milk Protein Concentrate and Infant Formula export thresholds with an application period starting on May 1, 2021 and a deadline of June 15, 2021.

These Notices can be found on the Dairy export thresholds website.

While there are no changes to existing ministerial policies, we continue to simplify and centralize information and the Notices should be read in conjunction with the Frequently asked questions – CUSMA dairy exports thresholds and the Key dates and export threshold quantities 2021-2022: BTQs for dairy export thresholds.

Changes to the BTQ application process resulting from COVID-19

Recognizing the continued impacts COVID-19 is having on stakeholders’ ability to conduct normal operations and given that access to certain Government of Canada facilities remains severely restricted, all BTQ applications are to be submitted electronically. The email address to which you must submit your application is provided on each application form and on our Contact Us page.
