Decision on the Coverage of the Canadian Space Agency under the TCA Government Procurement Chapter

In accordance with Notes 1 and 2 of Canada’s Market Access Schedule at Annex 19-1 to the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada, of the one part, and the European Union and its Members States, of the other part, done at Brussels on 30 October 2016, and pursuant to the process set out in Article 26.5(2)(d) of CETA, as incorporated in the Agreement on Trade Continuity between Canada and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, done at Ottawa on 9 December 2020 (the “Agreement”) through its Article 1 and part B of its Annex A, Canada has notified the United Kingdom that it will be removing the Canadian Space Agency’s temporary commitment under Annex 19-1 of the Agreement. This notification will take effect on 21 September 2022.
