Keep informed with the latest COVID-19 health and safety updates
The Government of Canada recognizes that the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic presents unique challenges for Canadian international development partners. Global Affairs Canada is working with sector representatives to facilitate the continued delivery of international development programming during this uncertain time.
Since the situation both in Canada and around the world is evolving, partners should consult this page and its links on a regular basis for updated and new information.
Measures to support international development partners
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Global Affairs Canada has issued a series of flexibility measures to facilitate project delivery.
For a detailed outline of temporary eligible expenses and other flexibilities, please review the Guidance on eligibility of COVID-19 potential costs for projects funded by Global Affairs Canada’s International Development Assistance Program.
