Minister Fast to Promote Canadian Leadership at World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland

January 23, 2013 - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will promote Canada’s economic success at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), to be held from January 23 to 27, 2013, in Davos, Switzerland.

Minister Fast will highlight Canada’s free trade leadership and its commitment to opening new markets for Canadian exporters around the world while promoting Canada as an investment destination of choice.

He will also make an active contribution at the World Trade Organization informal ministerial meeting, meet with key counterparts, communicate Canada’s economic success in WEF sessions and hold pre-Budget discussions with Canadian business and industry leaders.
