Message to Industry – Quantities Available for Allocation under the CUSMA Milk TRQ

A balance of 217,862 kilograms of the Canada – United States – Mexico (CUSMA) milk tariff rate quota (TRQ) is available for reallocation under the processors pool, for the 2019 – 2020 quota year (July 1 to July 31, 2020).

As such, please be advised that this balance of milk TRQ that was originally allocated to processors is now available to all eligible allocation holders. The additional quantities will be calculated in proportion of the applicant's initial allocation.

As per the allocation policy, the amount available is for the importation of milk in bulk (not for retail sale) for processing into dairy products for use as ingredients for further processing.

All other allocation policy requirements as provided in the Notice to Importers, Serial No. 1015 dated June 15, 2020 (the Notice) remain unchanged.
